Natalie & Christopher in Germany

Hey there!

We are Natalie and Christopher. We blog about life in the suburbs of Orlando, FL with no kids and one dog. Thanks for checking in.

Playdough and Happy Hour

Yesterday I got to play with my friend Miranda's cutie kid! Miranda had a hair cut appointment, so of course I jumped at the chance to get in some good baby squeezing time. I was so excited I made yellow lemon scented Playdough! Making homemade playdough is so easy and you probably have everything you need to make it at home already. I used the this recipe and I really liked it.

What you need
Flour
Water
Cream of tartar
Salt
Vegetable oil

Optional fun
Food coloring
Extracts

Mix the dry ingredients in a sauce pan

Add water and oil

Stir until it starts to get thick, add optional food coloring and extract

Stir until it clumps up on your spoon

Scrape it out of the bowl and let cool

And that my friends is how easy homemade playdough is. It takes about 10 minutes to make and could be made in any color or scent, so be creative. Now go find yourself a kid, preferably one you know well, and play with playdough!

After we were exhausted from being so creative we had a little Happy Hour Hors D'oeuvres plate of string cheese and club crackers with Juice. Playing is hard work!
