Eating around Orlando: The Townhouse Restaurant

My family is pretty fond of The Townhouse. Christopher and I started going there in college while we were dating. My parents go there regularly enough to be regulars, and we even went there for breakfast to celebrate my brother's engagement.

We recently went to The Townhouse on a chilly, rainy day for lunch, and thankfully they had chicken pot pie. I love chicken pot pie. It's the perfect chicken stew inside a perfect flaky crust, what's not to love.

The chicken pot pie came in a huge bowl, loaded up with chicken, carrots, peas, potatoes, celery, and probably a couple other veggies, but I was too busy eating it to count them all. The crust was perfect and buttery, the filling was HOT and so delicious! It came with a side salad, but I got a cup of soup instead! I can't wait until it's chicken pot pie day again!

They also had a special yellow cake and butter cream frosting cupcake on the dessert menu in honor of a family wedding. It was adorable. Definitely the best way I know to perk up a cold rainy day.
