Natalie & Christopher in Germany

Hey there!

We are Natalie and Christopher. We blog about life in the suburbs of Orlando, FL with no kids and one dog. Thanks for checking in.

Popsicle's 80th Birthday at the Zoo

Over the weekend my family celebrated my grandpa's 80th birthday, we call him Popsicle. We went to Dixie Crossroads for lunch, apparently it's a famous seafood place in Titusville... who knew?

After lunch we made a spontaneous visit to the Brevard Zoo. We saw so many cool animals and went on a little train ride to see some of the habitats. And then there was a small incident with a bird, more on that later.

This is the bird. Cute, huh?

This is me feeding the pretty little Lorikeet.

This is me trying to get the pretty little Lorikeet to come stand on my arm, I had already failed at getting the bird to step onto my hand.

Posing with the Lorikeet, I mean I was at the zoo feeding an animal, I needed to get a new profile picture out of that.

Then this happened.

That son of a bitch bit me. And then climbed all over Christopher like he was a pirate and it was his pet parrot.

But then the bird shit on Christopher. So it was awesome. And then I went to wash my finger and rub an alcohol swab on it, so I didn't get any kind of weird bird disease. And that was our trip to the Zoo.
