Natalie & Christopher in Germany

Hey there!

We are Natalie and Christopher. We blog about life in the suburbs of Orlando, FL with no kids and one dog. Thanks for checking in.

Bring it on 28!

Yesterday I kicked off my Birthday celebrations with a trip to renew my driver's license. Sometime between the last time I renewed and now Florida decided it needed to see my whole life in government issued documents before I was allowed to renew my license. What I don't really understand is why I needed to bring in copies of my government issued documents. I had to provide 5 (or 6? I can't remember) documents to renew my license, every single last one of them was government issued. Then they scanned them all... real safe. Are you telling me they haven't kept records of these documents I brought in? Can the departments really not work together to share their files? Are they seriously not electronic yet? ARE YOU FREAKING JOKING ME FLORIDA?! Oh well, I made an appointment and was in and out of there with more documents than it took to buy a house, and a new license in 15 minutes. It could have been worse.

Today I turn 28. I am now definitely in my late twenties. It hasn't been a bad decade so far, but I'm going to try and end it with a little more excitement than my life is used to. I'm working on a 30 Before 30 bucket to do list. I've seen them around, I've even made one before, but it was lame, so I'm starting over. I plan to post that bad boy once it's finished, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Anything cool I should do, or see, or experience, or maybe something I should avoid?

And now a birthday card to myself, getting older isn't all bad.
