This was the best Birchbox I've had in a while. I usually like the stuff in my boxes, but this month I loved it all. I even ordered the full size lotion already. For those that don't know me well that's really saying something because I don't typically care for lotion.
The Goods:
Antica Farmacista Bath & Shower Wash - This stuff smells really good. I've decided to keep this in my travel bag for next time I go out of town. I'm kind of a sucker for nice smelling body wash so I currently have three kinds. Maybe once one or two of them is gone I'll replace it with this.
Benefit They're Real! Mascara - I love this mascara, it's what I currently use, so I was excited to get an extra.
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum - This is a nice serum, but kind of expensive. I doubt I'll buy it.
Lifetherapy Hydrating Body Lotion (Vacation scent) - I loved how light feeling and lovely smelling this lotion was so much that I ordered it before I even finished my sample. Now I keep the little sample in my desk at work.
Miss Jessie's Multicultural Curls - I love Miss Jessie's! I usually use the Jelly Soft Curls when I leave my hair curly. This particular curl cream is either too heavy for my hair or I used too much when I tried it out the first time. What is hilarious about this product though is that I am the whitest white girl you will ever meet. I dance like Elaine Benes, I get a sunburn walking to my car in a parking lot if I'm not wearing sunscreen, and I have almost as many freckles as Conan O'Brien. But I love rap music, and I've been trying to teach myself Spanish to fit in with all of my new Puerto Rican coworkers (half of my office is from PR, I'm often the only person that doesn't speak Spanish), so I thought it was fitting that this month I got a hair product that reflects who I am on the inside. Don't be fooled by my pasty exterior.
When I bought the lotion I also reordered two of my favorite things, amika Obliphica Nourishing Mask, and suki exfoliate foaming cleanser. I was one happy girl the day UPS brought that box last week!
