Birchbox: March 2015

At the end of last year I tried to play the system and I gifted myself a Birchbox subscription when gift subscriptions were on sale. With the sale and my Birchbox points I only paid $68 for a year of Birchbox. Awesome! Except you can't redeem a gift with the same email address you sent it with, so I had to make a second account and it was kind of a mess. So this month I resubscribed with my regular account and now I'm getting two boxes for the next several months. I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of excited about it. I've decided to keep my main account profile settings the same and in my second account I'm going to change the profile settings to be more adventurous. I'm excited to see how different my boxes are, if at all.

This was the first month with two boxes, and both of my profiles were pretty much identical. I had a couple of similar products, but there was only one product that I got in both boxes.

March Birchbox #1

The lip crayon is really nice and a great color for me. I also really like this Beauty Protector spray, my mom gave me a full size one a couple of months ago and it's great!

March Box #2

I don't like the Juice Beauty face wash, I bought the full size version before sampling it about a year ago and I think I had more breakouts while using it. I love Davines products, so even though I haven't tried these yet I'll probably love them.

I don't wear perfume because they all give me nasty headaches, so both of those went in my guest bathroom, and the highlighter that came in both boxes is a little weird for me. I don't really know how to use highlighter and this is a gel with a brush like nail polish... I don't know what to do with it.

Two Birchoxes is awesome, but I have a feeling I'm going to need to take a week off work just to try all of the products after a couple months.
