Last week I bought a new hat, two fresh bottles of sunscreen, a new bright pink nail polish, and my first tube of baby lips lip gloss. I am so ready for the beach. After a week in the high 80's we planned on going this weekend, but in true Florida fashion the high temps at the beach this weekend were in the high 60's. There is no making sense of Florida weather.
According to a couple of friends of ours, this summer is Beach Summer. When we asked what that meant and they said going to the beach every available weekend, we said "Yes please"!
I am looking forward to sitting in my beach tent reading on my kindle, eating a publix sub, and drinking mangoritas all summer. Now if we could just get a warm, sunny weekend.
