Quarantine Weekend Three

Welcome back for another installment of quarantine weekends with the Hofreiters. Exciting content, I know.

Well During quarantine weekend number 3 (April 4&5) we built a plant shelf out of some junk we had laying around. Cinder blocks from a garden we killed and an old fence panel we had left over from installing our fence, 6-10 years ago, I’ve lost track of what year or decade it is.

Christopher cut the fence into a few chunks and we stacked them with the blocks, put our plants on the shelves, and boom. Plant shelf.

Lucy kept us working hard.

After we finished the shelf, we made a homemade watering can for our plant food liquid.

I took the label off a laundry detergent bottle, Christopher and I drew some plants and water drops on the bottle, we mixed up the plant food, and there you go, homemade watering can,

Use the watering can, and water your plants.

Sunday was rainy, so we watched Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets and the most recent season of Kim’s Convenience on Netflix.

We made chili dogs for lunch.

We also decided that we weren’t smart enough to plant Plant, Animal Mineral, where you choose something and the other person has to guess… so we changed it to TV show or Snack food. We’re much better at this version.

As we go into quarantine Easter weekend, I hope you are still able to celebrate in some way, via zoom or FaceTime, or however you can through technology.

Happy Easter, friends.
