Under the Influence: Loopy Cases

Under the Influence: Loopy Cases

I am going to start this new series with a product that I was influenced to buy from a real, live, internet influencer. I have been following Kate from The Small Things Blog for years, and she LOVES her LoopyCases and so does her sister Lauren (Lauren Loves). I figured I have liked a lot of the other things they have mentioned on their blogs/social media, so why not give this phone case a try.

I ordered the Leopard case for my iPhone 11 Pro, an extra loop in sparkly purple, and of course a Christmas print loop because it was on sale and I like to be prepared.

The case is a really nice quality, the print is adorable, the loop is a fun idea, but my hands are too damn small for this to work for me. I want it to work so badly, but it just doesn’t. My hand gets tired trying to hold my phone with my finger(s) in the loop because it’s kind of a stretch for my small hands. In this picture below I have my finger in the loop, but my thumb can barely reach to the middle of my screen.

In the past when I have used a Pop Socket I have always put it closer to the edge than the middle, and the loop isn’t perfectly in the middle, but it’s close enough to be too far.

The loop makes picking up my phone or hooking it on a finger because my hands are full really easy. I also like using the loop to hook it on my shower curtain ring in the shower so I can listen to podcasts or half watch YouTube videos.

I like how the case feels, it’s nice and smooth, and the buttons work so much better than a lot of other cases. It also came in this matching pouch that makes it easy to keep track of your extra loops.

So even though it’s not working perfectly for me, I am still using it for now. It’s a nice product and I think if you have long enough fingers, it would be a really comfortable case to use.
