Natalie & Christopher in Germany

Hey there!

We are Natalie and Christopher. We blog about life in the suburbs of Orlando, FL with no kids and one dog. Thanks for checking in.

My Favorite Travel Accessories

I love to travel and thanks to our life explosion, I have been able to tag along on most of Christopher’s work trips over the last several months.

Toiletries

Vaseline Hand Sanitizer Lotion - just in case you need to clean your hands when a sink isn’t available and don’t want to end up with crazy dry hands.

Airless Pump Bottles - I was so sick of my prescription face wash drying up in my silicone travel size squeeze bottles between trips, so I searched around for something that might work better and found these. So far I really like them. The bottom of the tube moves up when pumped to squeeze the product to the top so it’s not being left in the bottom of the container to dry out.

Billie Razor Travel Case - I use a Billie razor and this case makes bringing my regular razor with me so much easier. Plus, it’s cute. If you don’t  use a Bille, I’ve also used this travel razor and liked it, but when the blade died I just got the case for my regular daily razor instead of buying refills for a second one.

Toilet Paper & Hand Soap - I have some sensory issues, so I am extra particular about how things that touch me feel and toilet paper and hand soap are biggies. I bring my own toilet paper because hotel toilet paper is trash and I refuse to spend a week exposing my delicate areas to such a shit product. I also find hotel bar soap to be very drying, so I bring my own liquid or bar hand soap so I don’t end up with dry chalky hands.

Tech Accessories

3 in 1 Charging Cable - I like bringing a 3 in 1 charging cable when I travel (they’re also great for the car) because I can use the same cord to charge my phone, Switch, and Kindle even though they all use a different connector type (lightning, micro, USB-C).

Apple Watch Travel Charger - This little watch charger is handy for traveling and I can just keep it packed with my 3 in 1 charging cable, and my portable battery pack, so it’s always ready to go.

Apple Leather Wallet with MagSafe - This little wallet makes getting through security and on the plane easy without having to have your whole wallet in and out of your purse/backpack/tote. I put my Driver’s License and a credit card in it, pop it on the back of my phone and now I’m ready to check a bag, go through security, buy a drink or snack when I get to the gate, and scan my boarding pass, all without opening my bag. Plus, I like that it uses the find my i feature in case you drop it somewhere or leave it on a counter.

Apple AirTags - I have AirTags in my suitcase and backpack so I can always see where they are. You never know what might happen, and this helps ensure you can track your shit in case you leave it in an Uber or someone else accidentally grabs your suitcase, etc. So far, we haven’t had this happen to us, but better to track that shit than be sorry.
