2024 Word of the Year: Begin

Each year since 2018, I have chosen a word of the year instead of making New Year's resolutions. I try to choose a word that I think will help remind me to focus on the present moment and support my goals. 

This year I chose the word begin.

Hopefully, this year will have at least a few new beginnings. I hope to start a new job, move to a new city, find a new home, make a new friend, and start some new traditions with Christopher. I want to focus more on the beginnings ahead and less on the endings I am still grieving.
