Nineteen years ago Christopher told his roommate I was his girlfriend. I was not in fact his girlfriend. He hadn’t even purchased me one steak dinner. So when I informed him of this mix-up, he took me to Outback Steakhouse (fancy for us back in 2005) and I agreed to be his girlfriend.

I don’t have pictures from 2005 handy right now, so this is us from Christmas 2007.
