While browsing the Birchbox website I found a bunch of stuff I wanted to try, so when I got an email with a 20% off promotion code I had to place an order.
My favorite thing I bought was 21 drops aromatherapy blends, in Sleep. The Sleep blend has sandalwood, ylang ylang, palmarosa, and vetiver root oils and is really nice. I have used it for about a week now and I feel like I am sleeping much more soundly. Even Christopher has been using it, so it's a fun thing you can share with your husband.
The Befine Belips Lip exfoliator and Lip serum duo pack, was a fun little splurge for my lips and apparently I got one of the last ones because they are out of them now. I love lip scrubs like this. My lips seem to chap a lot more easily than other peoples so I like to give them a little scrub-a-dub-dub when they start to get a little rough. The lip serum is really smooth and nice and not too sticky. I'm definitely glad I ordered this.
I also ordered full sized Klorane eye makeup remover because of the Belle over at Capitol Hill Style gave it a thumbs up, and I agree that it works well and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
Then, just because I could, I ordered a Plus 2 pack which lets you choose two extra samples in addition to your regular Birchbox. The pack I ordered had a sample of the Sabon foot cream and Caldrea hand soap, in sea salt neroli, I selected this plus two pack because I love the Caldrea hand soap and wanted to try another scent and took the chance of getting something I had already tried. Thankfully, I got a new scent and it is just a nice as the basil blue sage. The foot cream has a really nice scent and is really smooth feeling, Christopher put some on my feet for me last night and I feel right to sleep. It was heavenly.
The Same day my Birchbox order came I stopped at Ulta on the way home to get some butter London nail polish because they were buy two, get one free and I had never tried them before. The colors I picked up are (right to left) Slapper, Saucy Jack, and Shag. The Slapper color did not photograph well and is a much darker, more teal color in real life.
When I checked out they gave me three perfume samples, Viva la Juicy La Fleur, Justin Bieber's Girlfriend, and they are all surprisingly nice smelling. Even the Justin Bieber scent. If I wore perfume that would have been quite haul of freebies.
This is the Shag color. I really like it and I think it is going to be one of my fall staples this year. I love nail polish, just excuse the nasty looking cut on my ring finger. I was helping Amber move last week and cut myself on a lamp I knocked over, right before I had to go home because I gave myself food poisoning. It wasn't pretty.
