Fall Bucket List Recap 2025
We had big fun this fall! We accomplished everything on our bucket list and then some. Let’s get into it.
We celebrated the first day of fall with mulled apple cider, and I had the leftovers after coffee for the rest of the week. Yum!
I baked a pumpkin pie with my top-secret family recipe, but I forgot to take a picture of the actual pie, so I guess I’ll share our secret.
During the fall, we took a few trips. First, we went to Nashville with my parents to go to the Highland Games there, then to Dallas, TX, for the state fair and to visit the Bush Presidential Library, then Sarasota for the weekend to relax, then to Little Rock, AR, to visit the Clinton Presidential Library, and finally to Montreal and Quebec City, Canada. It was a huge travel season, and so much fun. We saw Fall leaves and snow!
We got a caramel apple from Karamell-Küche in EPCOT, and it wasn’t as good as we remembered, so that was a little sad.
We only made it to Food & Wine Festival one time this year, but we got a few favorites. France is always a big hitter for us, we usually love everything except the escargot. You also can’t go wrong with the Belgian waffles, they were so good I forgot to get a pic. The stuff we got from Spain was good, but not like wait all year for it to come back good.
We celebrated Christopher’s birthday in Dallas with souffles and a visit to Meow Wolf.
This was our first Halloween at this new house, and holy crap, this neighborhood is WILD. We had 140 trick-or-treaters. We used up almost every single piece of candy from two large Costco bags, and one large bag from Target. It was incredible. Plus, the weather was nice, so we were able to sit outside all night and order a pizza to eat while we handed out our candy.
And last, but not least, we celebrated a fun/silly holiday every month. In September, we celebrated the Autumnal Equinox, in October, we celebrated National M&M’s Day, and in November, we celebrated Sandwich Day.
I hope you had a great Fall! What was your favorite part? Let us know in the comments.
