Spring Bucket List Recap

Spring Bucket List Recap

Spring is coming to a close, and this is everything I completed from my Spring Bucket List.

I celebrated Persian New Year with a goldfish bath bomb. Not exactly a traditional celebration, but it was relaxing.

We actually made it to the beach a few times. We even went to the West Coast for the day and had pie while we watched the sunset.

We went to the Morse Museum on one of their free Friday Nights at the Morse. November through April, 4:00 - 8:00 PM, admission is free to the museum and they have musicians playing while you stroll around. It’s a great night out if you’re local.

It had been a few years since we went to a UCF sporting event, so we hit up a baseball game. They didn’t win, but it was still fun to have some nachos and watch the game.

Lemon is one of my favorite flavors! I found a recipe for lemon crumble bars on Pinterest and tried it out. They are good, but it’s definitely too much crust and crumble topping for the amount of lemon bar. I wouldn’t make them again, but they were tasty.

This year, we celebrated 16 years of marriage with a super low-key night out. We went to Texas de Brazil and feasted on a parade of meats. After dinner, we popped into Magic Kingdom to catch the fireworks.

We also made sure to celebrate silly and fun holidays. In March, we celebrated oatmeal cookie day, in April we celebrated beverage day with milkshakes, but I forgot to take a picture, and of course, in May we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with homemade salsa and margaritas.

We never made it to the farmer’s market, and the pool isn’t quite warm enough for night swimming, so hopefully we’ll get to have pool movies during the summer.

It was a pretty good spring, but now that we have a pool, I’m ready for summer!
