Summer Bucket List Recap
We had a lot of fun this summer. We spent tons of time in the pool, went to the beach, and put a decent dent in our summer bucket list.
We went two new beaches, Indian Harbour Beach and Sand Key Park in Clearwater. It was nice to check out new spots. We even saw dolphins in clearwater.
In June, we hosted some of my aunts and uncles for a little family bbq. It was our first party in our house and so much fun to see everyone all together. Chris and I played in the pool with the kids, my brother and one of our cousins. We ate burgers and hot dogs. It was great. So great, I was too busy for pictures.
Over the summer, we saw 4th of July fireworks at the mall and Magic Kingdom fireworks. I love fireworks so much. Part of me really wants to move closer to Disney so we can see the fireworks from our house, but that’s such a busy part of town, and I don’t know if it would end up being worth it.
In June, we celebrated National Donut Day with Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
In July, we celebrated National Video Game Day by playing MarioKart.
And finally, in August, we celebrated National S’mores Day.
We went on two weekend getaways this summer. First, we went to Clearwater Beach and then we went to St. Augustine Beach. While we were in Clearwater we got to hang out with some friends and in St. Augustine we went to Columbia Restaurant to eat their 1905 salad and drink sangria.
We had a great summer and hope you did too! What was your favorite part of summer? Let us know in the comments.
