Plant Tour October 2026
It’s been a while since I shared my plant collection, so let’s get into it.
I currently have about 40-50 plants. Most of them live outside on our pool deck, but I am torturing a few inside on the kitchen bar.
The monstera corner is the happiest. I mean look at all those beauties. We have three regular Monstera Deliciousa and one Thai Constellation, plus a little Monstera adansonii. Then some ZZ plants, a ponytail palm, and a couple of peace lilies.
Buried under all of that are my orchids and a burrow’s tail.
Next up, we have the cacti corner.
I’m pretty proud of my string of bananas. It’s so long and beautiful.
We have a big bowl of succulents on the patio table. They seem very happy here.
And now we’ll move inside to the torture chamber. A place where plants go to die.
The plants on the kitchen bar have a grow light to help with the darkness, and they’ve been putting out so many new leaves, but now some of them are starting to droop. So maybe it’s too much light? Who knows.
It might be time for this ZZ plant to take a trip outside for some sunlight. It is putting up a new shoot right now, but it’s really bendy looking.
How are your plants doing? Let us know in the comments.
