New Year, Same Nonsense

Happy New Year.

2021 is really getting off to a bangin’ start. Covid-19 is running rampant, an insurrection at the Capitol, and it’s only January 8th. Lord only knows what else is in store.

On the bright side, I am watching a picture perfect snowfall at my parent’s house in Virginia. I can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, a brewery, and a hard cider shop. Plus this town has a bakery with a 24 hour vending machine filled with homemade desserts. It’s the perfect escape cave.

So while the democracy is slowly eroding, at least I have a picturesque town to hide out and ignore current events in.

I hope your 2021 is off to a decent start. May the force be with us all.
